Steve Beard
Victoria Halford and Steve Beard make art about accidents. Their intention is to narrate a secret history of the accident from an expanded reframing of the evidence base.
Halford is a visual artist who explores the links between the experience of pain and the witnessing capacity of photography. She has exhibited nationally and studied Fine Art Photography at the Royal College of Art.
Beard is a writer who experiments with making essays and fictions from theory, history, testimony and psychogeography. He has written two novels and contributed to the anthology London: City of Disappearances, edited by Iain Sinclair.
