Karl Heinz Roth
Karl Heinz Roth was born 1942 in Wertheim (Germany). He is an historian (Ph.D., University of Bremen) and M.D. (Medical School, University of Hamburg). In 1986 he was co-founder of the Hamburg Foundation for Social History of the 20th Century and established its research and archives departments. Actually he is member of the executive board of this foundation and of the editorial board of the review Social History online. His bibliography contains publications and editions in the fields of labour, business, economic, social and science history. Latest books: The Nazi Census (with Götz Aly, 2004); Der Zustand der Welt (2005); Die I.G. Farben im Nationalsozialismus (2008); Über Marx hinaus (with Marcel van der Linden, 2009); Die globale Krise (2009): Reemtsma auf der Krim (with Jan-Peter Abraham, 2011).
