Kaevan Gazdar

Kaevan Gazdar was born in Calcutta in 1951 and brought up in India, where he did a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and qualified as a chartered accountant.
After moving to Germany in 1974, he gained a Master's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Munich and continued with two years of advanced studies in Bologna (Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies) und Paris (Institut d'études politiques).
Kaevan has worked extensively as a journalist and speaker both in English and in German. He was managing editor of Anglo-American Spotlight and has written for magazines like Ethical Corporation and Investor Relations. Beyond this, books published by him include Germany's Balanced Economy – The Real Wealth of a Nation (Greenwood Press 1998) and Reporting Nonfinancials (John Wiley 2007), as also several German books on cultural and social issues including a biography of the German prince who created the country's first landscape garden. He has held seminars and talks at various venues including Management Center Europe (Brussels), FT Knowledge (London) and IIR (Zurich).
