Anita Neilson

Anita Neilson is a writer, poet, blogger. She lives in the west of Scotland. Her interests include daily meditation, spiritual reading and nature walks with her dogs. A Secondary School teacher till illness struck in 2009 (Fibromyalgia and M.E.), her recovery has been long and is still ongoing. She writes for many mind, body spirit and chronic illness publications such as Fibromyalgia magazine, ME Essential,Thrive Global, Kindred Spirit, Mind Body Spirit and Bellesprit among others. She aims to teach others that anyone can make a meaningful and positive contribution to the world by reconnecting with their inner compassion and love through small acts of kindness. Acts of kindness are one way in which she stays connected, and contributes, to the wider world. Anita 's second book, a collection of spiritual poetry and prose is currently in submission stage.
